FAQ's and Miscellaneous Information
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I PLACE MY ORDER?
- We recommend placing orders at least 2 weeks from your event date. Our calander does fill up VERY quickly. It is best to reach out to us as soon as possible to ensure we are available for your order date. We book orders up to 1 year in advance.
HOW CAN I PLACE AN ORDER?
- Order requests can be emailed, texted, or called in! If you have example photos for inspirational purposes, please email or text them to us prior to calling so we can get a feel for your vision while chatting. Once we discussed the details (either by email/text/phone), we will then email/text you a full price breakdown.
DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?
- Yes we do! Orders under $100 are required to be paid in full at the time of ordering. Orders over $100 require a 50% deposit with the remaining balance due no later than 48 hours before your order date. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. If for some reason you no longer need your order, we can offer your deposit as a credit towards a future order AS LONG AS we receive notice of cancellation 7 days prior to your order date.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
- We accept credit/debit cards, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Venmo, CashApp or Zelle.
WHAT IS YOUR AVERAGE PRICE FOR CAKES?
- Our prices vary greatly depending on many factors such as serving size, design, additional decorations (such as edible images and toppers), and flavors. Most single tier custom cakes are $6 per serving and mutli-tier cakes are $7-$8 per serving. Simple cakes (that are not custom, just decorated based on the flavor) are $5 per serving (i.e. Cannoli cake, Reese cake, Oreo cake, Carrot cake, etc..).
I"M NOT A FAN OF BUTTERCREAM, DO YOU OFFER OTHER ICING OPTIONS?
- We sure do! If buttercream isn't your thing, we also offer white or milk chocolate ganache! Currently at this time we do not offer cakes covered in fondant, only fondant details.
WE'RE GETTING MARRIED AND WANT TO SET UP A TASTING! HOW DOES THIS WORK?
- First off, congratulations on your engagement! Tastings are offered the first weekend of each month for pick up OR delivery. Our boxes are $50 for pick up at my home in Dade City OR $60 for delivery. Tasting boxes include 6 flavor options of our top sellers! Currently, these cannot be customized. Our tasting boxes include a 1 hour phone consultation as well. Wedding cake/dessert totals OVER $600 will receive the tasting fee back once booked with us (before delivery and set up fees).
DO YOU HAVE A STORE FRONT WE CAN STOP BY?
- We are a cottage food operation, which means everything is homemade in our home kitchen! We do not have a store front at this time. We are fully insured, licensed, and are a certified FL food safety manager. We offer delivery or pick up at our home in Northern Dade City
